Types of Bricks and Their Uses
There are many different types of bricks used in construction. For example, there are fire bricks and fly ash bricks. Fly ash bricks are made from the by-product of burning coal and contain a high concentration of calcium oxide. They are highly resistant to the elements, including wind and rain, and have excellent fire insulation properties. They are also self-cementing, which helps prevent water penetration. They are often used for foundations, pillars, and structural walls.
